Cash, Krugler & Fredericks represented the Helvey family in a catastrophic home elevator accident that caused severe brain damage to their 3-year-old son, Jacob. Safety Research & Strategies wrote a blog about the Helvey’s elevator accident. We are pursuing measures to make sure this type of needless accident never happens to another child and met with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in March to urge it to take steps. We are still waiting for the commission to take action on this crucial issue.
